Markus Poniewas from the dating agency PV-Exklusiv has once again donated to a charitable cause. The Protestant daycare center Kleine Arche uses the money to purchase play materials for the gymnasium.
Children need exercise. Silke Kluß, head of the Protestant daycare center Kleine Arche on Rheydter Oberlinstrasse, knows this well: “When the weather is acceptable, we spend a lot of time with the children in our large outdoor area. But this is often not possible, especially in winter. That’s why we have equipped our gym with lots of play materials to make it possible to have fun exercising even in bad weather.”
Silke Kluß is therefore particularly pleased about a donation that the daycare center received at the end of November. Markus Poniewas from a well-known dating agency PV-Exklusiv from Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach brought a check for 800 euros. Communications consultant Dr. Patrick Peters made contact with the Little Arche and contributed 300 euros to the donation; his daughter has been attending the facility since summer of this year. The reason for the commitment: “We want to take targeted responsibility and support children. They are our future, so we want to promote them. An established, well-known daycare center is exactly the right partner for a donation shortly before Christmas,” says Markus Poniewas.
“We will use the money to purchase large, soft components and thus expand our equipment. With the new elements, the children can, among other things, build a tunnel. “We are expanding the possibilities for play and movement,” says Silke Kluß. “As a non-profit organization, we are very happy to receive donations in addition to the sponsor's budget. We always find a use for it because we always need something for the children and the facility.” The facility can accommodate up to 63 children from the age of two until they start school.
Markus Poniewas regularly makes charitable contributions. Last year he donated to the Mönchengladbach daycare center Nimmersatt, this year to the support association of the Hannes meeting center in the municipality of St. Johannes, better known as Café Hannes, and to the German Children's Association. The association wants to act as a competent leading voice nationwide and act as a driving force as a child lobbyist against child abuse.
Markus Poniewas calls on all companies to get involved with children and emphasizes the opportunities that businesses can create for themselves if they get involved at an early stage. “We all complain about the lack of offspring. But the sooner we support children, the sooner we can influence that children develop well and later take on an independent role in society. This is a goal that is worth working towards.”
